This cream biscuit recipe is different because it doesn't go wheat on the ingredients list, meaning it's a gluten free biscuit. In some regions of Brazil it is called “seilho de nata” and the recipe is quite similar.

Ingredients for making Cream biscuits with cornstarch and condensed milk:

 3 cups of cornstarch (corn starch)

 ½ can of condensed milk

 2 tablespoons of cream

 1 egg

 ½ teaspoon baking powder (for cake)

 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence (optional)

 1 pinch of salt

How to make Cream biscuits with cornstarch and condensed milk:

In a mixer or blender, beat the egg with the condensed milk and cream for 1-2 minutes. No need to beat too much, just enough to mix. If you want, also add the vanilla essence.

Tip: If you don't have cream, you can replace it with cream from a box in the same amount.

Place the mixture in a bowl and gradually add the yeast and cornstarch. Knead and knead the dough of this cream biscuit with condensed milk until it is very soft and smooth - if necessary place the dough on a floured counter to knead more easily.

Tip: If the dough is too soft after kneading and kneading, add a little more cornstarch.

Shape your cream sequels the way you prefer. In this case I rolled out the dough with a rolling pin and cut it into rectangles of approximately 6 x 3 cm. Bake in a preheated oven at 200ÂșC for 10-15 minutes or until golden.
